  One day perhaps a restaurant on the water at Ridley Place will become a jewel in the crown of Australind.

  Great local shop if you need to hit up coles or the news agency. Doesn't have your bigger chain stores but if covers all the basics as well as some fast food joints in the carpark. The centre is clean, ample parking day or night.

  A small type shopping centre supported by two major supermarket chains (Coles & Aldi). It has al the support services .(bank, post office, chemist) plus some fast food outlets, cafes & some specialty shops with more opening as this goes to print. A gas station, medical, travel & council services are also in the vicinity. A clean, friendly atmosphere make this facility a joy to come to.

  Businesses have come and gone in this time but location, location, location - on the edge of the estuary with great potential for more tourist development. The adjacent historic homestead and church are cute relics of the original settlement and worth a visit.

  Nice shopping centre. Easy access. Loads of parking options. Rarely crowded.
